- "I like everything except I could not enjoy the swimming pool which was in maintenance. But I had been previously advised of that."

- "Location was the best thing and only thing we liked about this about
this hotel." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We did not like The Claridge. Our room (1204) was dirty when we arrived. It was cleaned the following day, but the kitchen was still too filthy to use, E.G., the stove vent had dust bunnies hanging from the filter. We were advised that there was external construction, but not that the windows would be marred over and some replaced with falling cardboard. We noticed that an adjacent room was very nice. Ours was terrible! We would not recommend staying here without inspecting the room first."

- "The staff was friendly; the clerks spoke English; the apartments were
spacious and kept clean; elevators functioned well and rarely required a
wait to get to my tenth floor accommodation; and the location in the
heart of Leblon , a five minute walk from the beach, with scores of good
restaurants and a big supermarket next door, was excellent." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "I wasn't informed that construction was going on at the hotel : the terrace was basically off limits and dangerous, with big loose wooden boards instead of a railing and wraparound sheets of plastic obscuring any views from the tenth floor. Though clean, the apartment wasn't kept in very good shape--the metal plates containing electrical sockets basically came out of the walls when I pulled plugs out of them, lamps didn't work, a bent and battered metal rack in the shower toppled over as soon as I placed a bar of soap on it. The worst was the total breakdown of the Internet for three days and two nights- most of the time I stayed there. Hotel staff claimed "the problem is outside" and refused to apologize or offer discount."

- "Was under renovation, but I had been informed about it, so cant complain. Air conditioning noisy. Bed Mattress old worn out."
