What did you like the most?: "The staff were friendly and the location is superb."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "It is a very grand building but it desperately needs an overhaul. Carpets were filthy, decor was peeling off walls, the whole place is very tired and in desperate need. I specifically asked for a room with easy access for my father which unfortunately did not materialize. There were steps everywhere even when the lift took you to a floor. On the 3rd floor the fire doors actually open out onto the stairs making it very difficult to negotiate especially for older visitors and some of the staircases did not have banisters on for extra stability. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone unless it gets a major revamp and it is certainly unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues."

What did you like the most?: "The hotel was a good spot to visit the surrounding area, the hotel was a 2 star, you get what you pay for, breakfast was okay, the staff a bit slow and not very organised, run out of mushrooms and sausages on Saturday at 8.45 and black pudding on Sunday @ 8.30, which as bank holiday you would expect to have all the breakfast items."
