- "I loved everything. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant is very expensive so we only eat there one night."

- "Lovely, garden-filled, casually elegant, intimate hotel right on best beach in Buzios. Kind & patient staff bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable. We booked a garden room thinking it would be more private & quiet, but the sea view rooms are definitely the best, and the hotel was kind enough to change our room for us. Beautiful views from these rooms & restaurant. On the calmest part of beach, with its own chairs & umbrellas. (Sundown in the hot tub with caprihinas is highly recommended.) Good breakfasts. Overall, we had a wonderful stay."

- "It is expensive, and the spare amenities in the rooms are not what some would expect for the price. Also, this is not a complaint, but an advisory: Laborie is on a public beach -- and though it has its own umbrellas & chairs -- you are in Brazil & mixing with everyone. Kids playing football, beach bars, surfers, hawkers -- it's a party sometimes! We loved it. But if you want a quiet & exclusive getaway where you're in a bubble of calm & could be anywhere in world...well...this is not that!"

- "Full of mosquitoes, no escape from them, standard of rooms and hotel not 5* more like an English 2-3* rating at its best and very expensive for the standard you get. Garden view rooms are awful!"
