"Charming old chateau hotel right in the centre of Le Mont Dore. Our family room was a little old and worn but it was clean and comfortable, and great value. They have a spa/solarium but we only stayed for one night and didn't have time to check it out."

- "Central position in le Mont Dore."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Three flights of stairs to our room, and no lift. Basic furnishings. Puzzled why our room cost 75 Euros booking through the web-site, but priced at 69 Euros to anyone booking with the hotel directly (I.E. the rate advertised at the reception, and in the rooms). However, the hotel was fully booked."

- "The lady on reception could not have been more friendly and helpful and I am sorry I did not remember her name. The hotel was easy walking distance to wander round Mont Dore (only a small place) and a short walk to train station, although only buses."

- "The hotel looks like a little castle, the rooms are spacious and the
receptionist is extremely kind." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Having booked a hotel with hot tub and sauna access we couldn't use them. It had to be reserved wide in advance, but nobody told us about it. The bed was not proberly fixed and made big noises everytime we just sat on it. The bathroom door didn't close. The nice salon can't be used outside the reception hours."
