- "The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and also recomended a
few places nearby where we could eat. Location was ideal for us as a
stop over after a visit to Busch gardens as it was only a few minutes
drive and easy to find. The hotel had a pool that looked ok and was open
until 10.00pm but we didn't get chance to use it. The rooms were clean
but not really big enough for 4 of us which we were lead to believe they
would be. Breakfast was help yourself with muffins, bread for toast and
yoghurt, and also some waffle irons to make your own waffles, but didn't
really suit our children. I was a bit put off by the fact you had to use
plastic cutlery and paper plates. I know this saves on washing up but
not very environmentally friendly! All in all the hotel was ok and would
be fine for a couple or family with younger children. We were only
booked in for 1 night as we were passing through so was adequate but
would have needed 2 rooms if we were staying longer as our children are
a bit big to be sharing a bed. Single beds would have been more suitable
for family rooms" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "On arrival they had no record of our booking but the receptionist managed to sort us out with a room as luckily for us it was a quiet week. I see from previous reviews this was not a first for those booking through booking.com so may be worth ringing ahead to check"
