- What did you like the most?
- "Friendly Staff speak english. Guiermo explained how to find the 2 close
mercados. Tip: Safest atm machine is in the gas station a few blocks
away on Brasil Street. Very Comfortable beds with clean sheets. Internet
worked really well. Typical hostel breakfast of white toast, jam,
instant coffee. Kitchen is clean and plenty of space in the
refrigerator. Clean bathrooms and strong hot showers." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "This is listed as a non smoking hostel, but the staff, especially at night, smokes heavily in the small courtyard. All of the cigarette smoke came into my room, overlooking the enclosed courtyard. The staff also burns incense indoors in the morning. This is really bad for anyone who needs clean air. Deoderizer from a can is also bad, so please do not use this as a replacement. As professionals, staff should not be socializing with their friends. A staff members boyfriend stayed all day watching football and eating his meals. Staff do not live at the hostel, so the hostel could save money on electricity by replacing the staff only refrigerator with a much smaller sized one."

- "Staying in Landay Barcelo was great; the place is charming, safe, clean,
cozy and the recepcionists are very friendly; thanks to everybody,
especially Guilherme who helped a lot and was always smiling."

- "I really enjoyed staying in this Hostel and it definitely exceeded all
of my expectations of what a hostel is. All rooms are clean and feel
fresh. Furthermore the building is lovely with a lot of character. The
staff were really great, so helpful and accommodating. So much so that
I didn't really want to go when the time came and spent two extra
nights there.
