than many rated hotels in Spain that I have stayed in - even a small but
adequate swimming pool. The views were beautiful - down across the tree
studded vale and away toward distant vistas of the Sierra Morena." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The restaurant was appointed to at least 3 star standard, but the food was limited and very expensive. Just two very personable people appeared to run everything. Something that could easily be addressed and then you have here something extraordinary at the price."

- "The road to the hotel was very bad and the staff could only speak spanish"

- "La Era de Aracena is well off the road, qualifying it as rural accommodation and our two rooms, kitchen and lounge were well equipped. The staff were friendly. We could drive into the Aracena village in minutes and it was a good place to stay for our two day visit to the Rio Tinto mine about 20 minutes down the road and the grotto in Aracena."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Look for a sign which says simply Hotel Restaurante rather than the actual name of the hotel when you are turning off the main road. It didn't matter that our casa rural wasn't ready when we arrived at 2.30pm, we went straight on to nearby Minas de Rio Tinto for our train ride. When we got back at 8pm we checked straight in. A delay in receiving the booking from Booking.Com was given as the reason. Breakfast was basic, but it was Easter and shops would have been closed."

Nice dining hall with the bar and the open fireplace." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The design of the rooms doesn't allow much privacy and they are a little on the small side. It would be nice to have some sort of seating area in front of each room to enjoy the views. Signage: Quite difficult to find as there is no sign on the main road. We had to drive into right into Aracena and ask. Better signage for the reception, bar, etc. on and within the building would also help on arrival."
