- "Clara and Mercedes of the Capellania are tremendous hostesses and truly made our stay in the La Rioja region memorable. Their personal efforts to get us entry to bodegas and restaurants were superb. The hotel was great and more than met our expectations - the ladies made our stay very special."

- "We enjoyed traveling to places to eat. Dining in San Asencio is limited if you are not so inclined."

- "Beautifully restored old building with tasteful, spacious and comfortable rooms. The owners made us very welcome and offered advice on the local area, including making bookings for some winery visits. We also enjoyed a plentiful and well presented breakfast."
