- "Really friendly staff especially in the bar and good food. The rooms were clean and comfortable, meals good value"
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "It is in need of refurbishing especially some of the public areas and the bathrooms but it is under new management this year so perhaps this is something that will be tackled over the winter. I could not find the wifi never mind connect to it but as we were only there two separate days while travelling it didn't matter. It was a bit over-priced"

- "Beautiful location. Hotel is in the process of renovating their rooms. We had two rooms one of which had been renovated and was absolutely lovely."

- "The hotel has been allowed to be run down in recent years, but the new owners are trying their best to improve it. It is very far from being luxury and the first impressions are very poor. However the room, having recently been refurbished, was roomy, bright and clean though the TV was not functioning. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast the next morning was just as good. The owner was very casual and friendly, if somewhat too casually dressed - what other tourists eg Americans would make of him would be very questionable."
