staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was great.
Breakfast, in the hotel's outdoor restaurant, was delicious, and food
was available throughout the day at the hotel's beachfront. We loved the
location of the hotel, right on the beach and close to all sorts of
shopping. Our room, in the back of the hotel, was tiny but quiet, and
the air conditioner worked beautifully when we needed it. Turkbuku is
expensive, but this hotel was very reasonable, a perfect place to stay.
We ate dinner at the restaurant a couple of times, too (again, right on
the beach), and the food and service were excellent--and reasonably
priced. We hope to be back soon!"

- "This charming hotel was built and is owned by an unbelievably hospitable
Turkish family. From the minute we arrived, everyone on the staff seemed
dedicated to make sure we had a great time. The location is stunning, in
a small village about 20-30 minutes drive away from Bodrum (there are
shuttles that leave every 15 minutes or so back and forth). My friend
and I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was always clean with
working air conditioning (which is so needed when it is 42c outside!).
There are some luxury hotels and spas down the strip, but we both much
preferred Kaktus for its food, hospitality, and warmth. I'd absolutely
recommend staying here if you're considering Turkbuku!" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The only downside to this location is that there is a mosque in close proximity which broadcasts prayers loudly at 4am every day - though I am fairly certain that all of the hotels in Turkbuku have the same problem. We eventually got used to it, but bring earplugs!"
