- "Our room (201) was modern and of a good size. 6 foot bed, large lcd tv
(french channels only), minibar/fridge, plenty of wardrobe space (if ,
as usual, not enough hangars). Toilet in a seperate room to bathroom.
Very clean and serviced daily. Having seen a few other rooms belonging
to other people we met that were staying in the hotel, it seemed to be
the best room they had! We did not eat breakfast at the hotel (11 euros
per head) instead chosing to take the 2 minute walk into the centre of
Cadillcac (lovely quaint little french town) and eat at the
boulangerie/local cafe. However, the food at the hotel looked to be of a
high standard. The shaded terrace area is a lovely place to have
breakfast or a drink and the pool area was a nice place to relax.
Generally very quiet and enough loungers to go round. The pool was clean
enough and not too cold. Accross the road from a supermarket, 30-40 mins
drive from Bordeaux airport...train station in next town of Cerons (5-10
min walk) has a train into Bordeaux for 6 euros." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The one thing that annoyed us (and every other couple that we spoke to staying at the hotel) was the showers. For some reason, the shower head was not supported by a rail wich meant having to shower with one hand and turning on and off every time you wanted to apply shampoo etc. To top this off there was no shower curtain/glass which meant it was difficult to not soak the room when showering! This seems to be a real basic error of judgement on the hotels part and I cannot beleive something so obvious has been overlooked. This may sound minor but proved to be a real pain - when you pay a significant amount of money to stay somewhere, the least you expect is to be able to wash comfortably in your room! Please fix this for future guests! Secondly, some of the hotel staff could be quite abrupt and not particularly helpful. I have a feeling that due to the behaviour of other English guests at a wedding party staying at the hotel, this may have affected the staff's attitude towards all English guests...which was a shame."

- "The hotel is well situated onlty a short distance from the autoroute (10 mins) on the edge of a very pleasnt village with excellent countrtside all around and Cadillac had much more to it than we expected. The hotel itself was well appointed, clean and comfortable."

- "We felt that the restaurant menu was a little too limited for our tastes; the "gourmet" dishes were well presented but were very rich and some simpler plainer options would have been welcome."
