- "What I like about Howard Johnson is that it's close to the
boardwalk and outlets and restaurant and it is also close to the ride
for the family" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The heat in are room wasn't working right talk to someone at the front desk needless to say after go back and forth with the man at the front desk he said he would send someone up to fix it earlier before that the maid was knocking on the door to clean the room ask if she could come back she said yes but they never did call the front desk ask if they can get someone to clean the room I was question again about what time it was when I talk to the maid I said noon to 1 they said they would send someone up with fresh linen but never did."

- "I liked the room. It was clean and on the second floor. I slept very
well on the firm mattress although I had to turn the in-room heater off.
The bathroom was nice/clean with plenty of amenities. I believe the
hotel underwent a recent upgrade. There's a nice restaurant right
next door with $8 burgers. The Atlantic City Bar and Grill. I did the
$12 meatballs and spaghetti which was excellent. I did not find a
problem with the neighborhood because its only 1 city block long.
Literally, 10 minutes to your left is the Showboat, Taj, and Revel, and
10 minutes to your right is the Claridge, Bally's and Ceasar'S.

- "The price was jacked way up for News Year Eve. With all hidden taxes my one night stay was a shocking $336. Even the bill receipt chocked on the amount and listed the cost as being for a 2 nite stay. The only other thing is the water reminds me of the desalinated water in the Middle East. Kind of oily with a lot of minerals in it. A problem when trying to create lather or wash your hair. But, hey, I'm used to roughing it, and the water is probably the same city wide. Only other gripe was the Taj shuttle from the Train was a Carbon Monoxide deathtrap (I forsee a major lawsuit for the Jitney company by the soon to be deceased driver's family). Everyone was holding clothing over their mouths. Better to take a nice brisk walk to the hotel (About 20 mins for someone in shape)."
