- "The Venera hotel staff and facilities were excellent. The view of the sea/city from the terrace is great. WiFi of very good quality. The placement of the hotel in the Laleli neighborhood is giving a good opportunity to explore as pedestrian the old part of the city (SultanAhmet) in your (remaining) free time. Tramway stop is close by. I recommend the hotel to any interested person visiting Istanbul. Also I recommend a pedestrian walk from hotel Venera to Taksim area via GrandBazar and Galata Bridge.

- "For a Turkish hotel in Istanbul, hotel Venera has a too strong Russian/Soviet influence - Lenin's portrait on the wall in the lobby and more Russian TV channels than in any other language (even Turkish). Genuine coffee and not Nescafe at breakfast would be mostly welcome."

choice of food and hotel restaurant has also tasty meals. A view from
