What did you like the most?: "My room was comfortable and hot breakfasts were welcome, especially in November. Hot power shower was a welcome relief from cold. Towels were replaced daily. Staff spoke english and were friendly and helpfull."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "After three days of scrambled eggs maybe menue could be modified. basically satisfied with what hotel offered. Booking from afar (UK) I thought I was keeping a safe distance from the infamous rieperbaan area only to my annoyance did I find myself next door to a place of ill repute and another some doors down on other side of street. I'm sure that Hamburg has more to offer than pleasures of the sexual kind. I had a great shopping time in the stores and christmas markets with my wife and missionary son. I did not know that the 'trade' had spread out of it's original area. At least most hotels bragged how close they were to the 'famous' rieper area, thus giving me a chance to keep my distance."
