- "All round a brilliant experience and will definitely be returning next year!!! Have already reccomended to some friends looking at staying in Newquay. Better than any of the other resorts we have stayed at in Newquay in the past 4 years. Thanks again Hotel Sunnyside :D"

- "location: just facing the main beach and right in the city center"

- "RUBBISH ROOM The "Twin Room" was the smallest single room I've ever been to, with a Bulk bed just fitting it. There just wasn't enough space for two person even without luggage! just a small window opening a few inches to refresh the air is a nightmare for humidity in such a small room and the bathroom, if can be called so, was more like a fitting room, with a sink large like a bowl for soup. What is more, towels were not included. The price was 60 £ a night for the twin room, in September, which is cheap for a room in a hotel, but it's rather expensive for a burial niche in an smelly hostel!"

- "Their 'pay for what you need system'. Certain things (Towels, Room cleaning during your stay, breakfast) you can book or hire if you like, but if you don't need or use it, you don't need to pay!"
