- "Great location: arrival by car just off the motorway, by train just at the back door, by cycle, I guess even on foot. Beautiful countryside in the area. Great atmosphere: something different a railway-station-turned-hotel with railway station elements in the decor. Friendly staff, relaxed check-in and check-out, nice table-served German breakfast, flexibility regarding dietary requests. Something special and good price-quality."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The rooms were compact, but well designed, even though small (we had one of the double rooms). When we visited (July 2010) it was extremely hot, so without airconditioning we kept the windows open for air and then the freight trains at night can wake you up every now and then. However, with the windows closed, we're sure that would not be much of a problem (maybe you would still feel the vibrations, but not hear the sound)."

- "The restaurant is fantastic! Kudos to the chef. Also, the design, utilizing details of a converted train station, is clever and elegant. The hotel was spotless, and the setting (complete with beautiful terrace, overlooking a lovely park AND active -but not noisy, due to excellent construction- train tracks!) was both idyllic and interesting. Staff/owners were delightful, too. Cannot reccomend this place highly enough! Great for train bufs! Also, although we didn't have our bicycles, this hotel is perfect for biking/hiking, too - right on the path, and with trains and a busstop literally at the door. We hope to return!"

- "It did not bother us, but due to the old train station architecture, the rooms are a little small. However, the renovation has ben expertly done, so all rooms and spaces are well-designed, using high-quality materials, and kept sparkling clean."

- "Everything about the hotel is excellent. Style, modern rooms, great
location, less than 5 minutes from the motorway, great food and wines,
fantastic breakfast, etc. etc. The only slight downside is being right
by the trackside of a functioning railway. Trains do rumble by from
04:30, so if you're a light sleeper, this may not be for you (they're
only every 45 minutes or so until around 07:00 though). Lovely people,
lovely location. Very nice, and would highly recommend"

- "Interestingly designed, the hotel was comfortable and relaxing to stay in. The landlady was keen to ensure our needs were fully met, even down to the personal touch of including a few toys in our room to ensure our little boy's immediate impression of his new "home-from-home" was a good one. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, although be warned that trains do still pass through the station and some noise, though not intrusive can be heard."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "A lift would be a welcome addition."
