- "There was no hotel information in the room so I had to go all the way back down to reception to find out if there was a restaurant/bar in the hotel (there was), if there was wifi (there was) and a room service menu...but the staff provided everything I asked for."

- "We were looking for a hotel for one night so that we could get an early flight from Oporto airport the next day. The Hotel Premium Maia as it is now called fitted the bill. We used the metro to get to the hotel and it was literally only a few hundred metres from the metro stop. In the morning it took about half an hour to get to the airport using the metro.
We had asked fora double bed and were amazed to discover that the bed in our room would have been big enough for four! There was also another very large single in the same room - so the room was on the large side!!
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. It was complete with complimentary toiletries.
Our room rate included breakfast which was a buffet style with plenty of choice including eggs and bacon, the usual hams, cheeses, cereals, breads and cakes as well as plenty of fresh fruit - something for everyone.
There were plenty of places to eat out very close to the hotel and also a couple of supermarkets.
It would be very easy to get into Porto centre using the metro from here.
We didn't use it but there was also a large car park at the side of the hotel.
We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends or use it again ourselves."
