- "The old building is beautiful and very nice situated on a rural location."

- "My general impression is that the hotel seems to be run down. The public areas inside don't smell nice, because of that we did'n't have dinner or breakfast. It felt like the day after the party, can be right we stayed there on sunday. Outside the sunbeds are quite old, they don't look clean and some have holes of cigarette ashes. around the swimmingpool and on the big terrace, it's a hodgpodge of used furnature, plants, parasols, all kind of tables, it feels untended and it doesn't make a clean impression."

- "The breakfast selection could have been better. They offer lots of sweats in the morning which might not be everyone's cup of tea. Dinner setting beside the pool was fantastic however the food, although highly recommended, could have been better."

- "A more convenient, less expensive shuttle to get to the train station and restaurants would be helpful."

- "Great surrounding and view. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff greeted us nicely, took our luggage and accompanied us to the our mini suite. Everything looked nice and tidy.
We had an amazing dinner, well presented and delicious. The cheapest bottle of champagne was 85 ? but worth the price!
We loved our staying at Monte del Re but we expected a little bit more considering we paid 190? per night." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The jacuzzi was dirty and malfunctioning, which is a shame considering that there was no shower and so no other way to have a bath. We complained at the reception and afterward a guy came in, to fix it, while me and my boyfriend were in bed, quite embarassing! To apologize (I guess) they left on the table a little tray with chocolates, cookies and cherries. Appreciated it! The furnitures were a bit old and not well mantained; The breakfast service finished at 10, and when you are on holiday the last thing you want is to wake up at 8 just to have breakfast. So at 11 we had to sit at the bar where they served us a couple of brioches and a cappuccino."
