Excellent stop over about 50/50 between Calais and our
destination. ( Cartagena Spain ). Adjacent steak house

- "A very clean comfortable room, close to the Autoroute, so very good for an overnight stop. The receptionist was very pleasant and spoke good English when my French ran out! Good parking. For ?5 extra, gated secure parking was available."

- "There is a dedicated restaurant next door to the hotel, a "Hippopotamus". Despite what appeared to be an extensive menu, if you didn't want beef (in any of the multitudinous forms on offer) then your choices were limited. A cloudy and chemical smelling glass of wine was served to my wife. It was quite obviously off. It took more than one attempt to get it replaced. Asked for a plate of chips to accompany the meal, never arrived. Asked for some vinegar dressing, never arrived. In our opininion the restaurant let the hotel down."
