- "The family who run it are lovely. Only the daughter speaks english, but
we got by with our beginner spanish ok when she wasn't around.
I'd suggest you resist the tour operators waiting at the bus station
and book day trips through the family who run hotel galaxia, as they do
very good rates. We enjoyed (and recommend) the trip to the glacier."

- "Lovely family run hostal. A large room, with constant hot water and the
best wifi we have had in Peru! Excellent location for the main street
and nearby restaurants. The daughter speaks good English and they can
supply tours. They kept our bags safe all day in their store room after
we checked out." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "They do not provide breakfast, but there are plenty of good places around at a reasonable price."

- "The owner, "Nani", was excellent. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and
helpful. The hotel is rated a s a "1-star" but for the price and
convenience we rate it a "5-star"!. Nani also set up our tours and the
bus comes to the door. We would definitely stay again if in Huaraz." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Breakfast is not included in the price, but there is a cafeteria 50 meters away that serves a nice breakfast for 5 or 7.5 soles."
