- "Everything about this hotel is excellent. It is perched high on rocks
with the Atlantic ocean crashing below but there are also wonderful
views of the mountains which are close by. The staff were extremely
helpful and courteous - always on hand to assist but never intrusive. We
were upgraded on arrival to a room with a balcony. It was wonderful to
be able to to sit out each morning and watch the sun rise over the
Atlantic. The hotel is about 5m from the town of Cascais and about 8-10m
from magical Sintra, so is an ideal base for sightseeing. The food was
wonderful and the hotel restaurant boasts a Michelin star. However there
are also a number of very good restaurants within walking distance of
the hotel which cater for all budgets. I would definitely recommend this
hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing break." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The hotel does not have a spa or fitness centre which may not appeal to some. However there is a track/ path between Guincho and Cascais (approx 5m) which is very popular with runners, walkers and cyclists so those wishing to exercise can do so against the backdrop of the ocean."
