- "I've stayed here for years. It's in a great location, near the RER and the Chateau, in a beautiful town, Saint Germain-en-Laye. The original Summer Palace - ie the one before Versailles was built! - was here. It's easy to get into Paris, with a beautiful terrace/park/forest as well as great shops, restaurants, etc. And the Ermitage des Loges is in a great place."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Some of the hotel rooms are a bit shabby - although I was in the annex, which is a walk through the garden, but the rooms are bigger and have been refurbished more recently. I don't have the breakfast either, as I find it expensive and not very good - but, to be fair, I didn't try it this time. Can be expensive, but surprising, the rate through booking.com was cheaper than if I'd booked direct with the hotel."

- "One or two staff were very friendly."

- "- No AC or even an electric fan. It was very hot when I was there and I was unable to stay in the room during the daytime or even sleep at night. I work in the Middle East so I'm used to heat but this room was like an oven. - Although it is a no-smoking hotel they seem happy to let people stand outside their windows (on the roof) and smoke. Hence if your window is open - as mine was due to the heat - your room gets full of smoke. - The hotel decided something really important needed hammering at 8am for an hour. I would nornally be up by then but due to said heat with no fan I had only fallen asleep about 4am. - The second day a loud outdoor cleaning machine used for hours. Again it was hot so my window needed to be open but even with it closed the noise was too loud to be able to stay in the room. Overall. No way I'd stay there again."
