- "The hotel was clean and room of good size, with large marble shower and reasonable bathroom size. It is located in a quiet suburb, 500 meters from Bologna Metro Station. It took about 10-15 minutes by Metro to arrive at the centre of the historic sites such as the Coliseum. Most of staff were helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was served on the 6th floor and the continental breakfast was as acceptable in choice and quality ? except the coffee."

- "No coffee and tea making facilities in the hotel. The view from room 230 looks over an untidy courtyard. I love Italian coffee but regrettably this Hotel had a coffee machine used to dispense some of the worst coffee I have ever tasted in Italy. As we were leaving very early on the following morning I asked the Receptionist to print my bill the previous evening. When I looked at the bill I said that I would read it and come back to him later. He demanded to know why. I said that I would check my bill against my on-line printout of the reservation which was in my room. He initially refused to let me take away the printout. I only wanted to check the figures. Eventually, after he had written all over the paper that this was a preliminary bill he gave me a copy. The other concern was that two different receptionists advised me that the only way to catch my early flight was to hire a taxi at 100Euros. I needed to leave before the Metro and buses ran at 05:30. This seemed exorbitant. I needed to arrive at Fiumicino Airport at 6:00am. I found that the Airport Train ran at 5:10am from the mainline station and would arrive at 05:50am. The walk was about 15 minutes and the tickets need to be purchased the night before from the ticket office. Cost of 6.5 Euros each."
