condition." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Unlike the hotel and image of Curia - this is not a real "Wellness/Spa hotel" in a European or international sense of standard. The house and the surrounding buildings are old and maybe it was a great place 30, 40 years ago. But many parts of the hotel look shabby and there is no such thing as a big pool, a great Termas to use. The sauna is ok, but no quiet area which deserves the name. The place is rather a pseudo- rehabilitation place for elderly people who get prescriptions for the nearly religios use of a very small water basin (Termas). The staff was often unwilling to help or also very unsure with some words of English."

- "Nothing. Location very noisy set between motorway - raised to level of
1st floor bedrooms, slip roads, busy local roads and a garage. Totally
misdescribed in hotel info on booking.com" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Our room was on 1st floor directly opposite the busy motorway - a road width away. It was extremely noisy from 5am when I was woken by constant traffic roar. Air con was totally ineffective. They said it was working but I don't think so. Advertised a la carte restaurant with Basque cuisine was not open on Sunday evening. Small busy bar served snacks of the chicken nuggets and chips variety. Very unpleasant. Hotel was sandwiched between busy motorway, busy local road and a garage forecourt. The terrace of the hotel overlooked the car park, and the "garden" was a little triangle of grass and chippings right by the motorway. The golf course could not be seen from the hotel and was across motorway and slip roads. Rooms were of a reasonable size and fairly modern , but totally charmless - all in grey including furniture - tv, basic table/desk and one power point by tv."

- "The surrounding grounds are very pretty but better care is needed."

- "I was put into a smoker's room and after trying to put up with the intense cigarette smell the room had, asked for another room. Although I was given another room immediately, I should never have been given the first room at all. I had requested non smokers. Also, the heating system was extremely slow and the room remained cold. It's a very pretty hotel but will lose out because of things such as these."

- "- Good renewed bathroom, looks great.

- "- Very small room, very different from the photos (the manager excused himself on my check-out, but should have never given us that room). - The heating was very low or Off (I think they switched it off during the night). It was winter, so this was very uncomfortable. - The water was between cold and a bit warm. I was there during winter, it was a pain to take a bath. - No wi-fi signal available on any part of the room and on a part of the floor. - The room had a view to a wall, 5 meters ahead. - Some bathroom equipment was faulty."
