- "We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel in the attractive village
of Salardu. The hotel is just off the main road through the village and
only 20 metres from the bus stop, which is the best way of getting to
Baquiera when your car is snowed into the public carpark just up the
hill! The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful with advice about
where to eat and bus times. Our room was clean, warm and nicely
furnished with very comfortable beds, plenty of space, a sizable fridge
and a good bathroom - it was also very quiet at night. Breakfasts were
excellent with a good selection of cold meats, breads, cakes and fruit
plus bacon and eggs. At first the village seemed a bit limited for
evenings but after a good wander round we found a couple of good
restaurants, in particular the Prat Aloy just over the river with its
cosy bar/ sitting room." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "If you go for the skiing, Salardu may not be ideal as you still need to either drive up to Baqueira (4km) or take the bus which runs every hour. (Note also that ski passes in Baquiera are expensive). If you want the nightlife, Vielha may be better. But Salardu is a pretty village and the hotel was very good value."

- "We liked everything about the hotel and our stay. Very friendly and
helpful staff and owner. Cleaniless, decoration, all details well taken
care in the entire super cosy and well maintained property. Fridge with
minibar, really white and clean towels and bed linen... I loved them!
Very varied and good quality buffet breakfast gave us the fuel we need
to beging our ski day. The location! Just perfect! Salardu has got just
all you need from a village, nice resto, apres ski, mini market, bakery,
historic buildings-church are all around the corner and Baqueira is
really next door by car (3km) Our trip was a surprise ski escape for my
husband to celebrate our aniversary and the room was really as I
expected from others reviews and hotel pictures and description. We did
have a double room because I was a bit late on booking, but I still got
the one with the beds together and beautiful view to mountains and small
river in front. Security box was avaiable in the room but did not work,
but we did not need it that much either in the end, so did not ask for
help either" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "My expectations were really met, but if your are a tv person, you may find it a bit small Parking outside is free and available but can be tricky on high season as the hotel has only few places reserved. We found spot because we arrived early enough in the afternoon. Shower head could be fixed in a flexible support to change direction of water. Nothing really bad about it, but just an advice."
