Transporation from bus station at midnight was there waiting and took me
straight to the hotel" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "They have two rates. Booking.com rate and soles rate. The different rates have nothing to do with exchange. My booking.com rate was $78usd for two nights. Soles rate 125 per night or about 50 usd Because when asked soles or dollars I said soles I was charged the 125 per night plus the 10 percent booking.com service charge even though I paid their most recent rate. Luckily I paid prior one day than leaving. They did refund my visa and gave me the booking.com rate. Had I paid on day of departure I would not have been able to correct this error according to them on my part. The biggest scam they pulled on me was two minutes before departing on tour to Colca the clerk comes and tells me that the day before I paid her 3 50 soles bills and one was false or conterfiet. I then had to exchange a good 50 soles bill for a bad one. Which was not even mine to begin with. Ok if you find a bad bill but don't wait till the next day when trying to leave. Who knows who gave them the bad note. I do not think it was me especially after waiting a day. Travelers beware. There is scamming in the air."

- "This hotel is very cool,a beautifuly restored colonial home from the 1700's but has all the modern amenity to be comfortable. The staff was great,breakfast was really good,the patios are beautiful for just relaxing and a respite from the noisy, busy city.. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite, even tho it was right off the dining room & reception, it still felt quiet and private...Anytime of the day you could get a cold beer or glass of wine and hang in the patios or visit with other travelers.
