All rooms, which respect the traditional architecture of the building, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. You can make trips to the towns of Asturias: Oviedo and Gijón are within a half hour. Follow the shoreline and discover the beaches of the area. Casona Cuervo The hotel organizes activities such as paintball, riding and canoeing on the river Nalon.

- "Just a little bit dificult to find. Just stay in the village its next to a blue apartment block."

- What did you like the most?
- "The hotel is situated in the beautiful village of San Tirso, which has
almost as many horreos (elevated grain stores) as houses! It is a quiet,
rural locality ideally situated for reaching the stunning beaches along
the Bay of Biscay, the inland sierras for walking and it?s also within
easy reach of some historic cities. A 1.5km walk takes you to the feve
(narrow-gauge railway) station at San Roman and from here it?s a 50
minute journey through some attractive countryside to Oviedo with its
fantastic cathedral, museums and many other historic buildings. The
hotel itself has been recently and tastefully modernised and the hosts
really make you feel at home, nothing is too much trouble for them, and
they offer many helpful suggestions of places to visit. The food is
simple, but good and the evening meal includes an excellent bottle of
wine. This is a hotel we will return to!"

- "We had a most enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely
helpful . They went out of their way to make our stay most
memorable.They definitely go the extra mile. The location is fabulous
and the hotel is a beautifully renovated farmhouse. We certainly
would recommend Casona Cuervo to our friends and family, we certainly
will return!"

- "The hotel was beautiful, the staff very friendly and very helpful. The
setting was very pretty, the showers were great. (We did stay in the
luxury rooms)" - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Breakfast was basic (D.I.Y. toast, french stick, some orange juice and ok-ish coffee in thermos flask), set in the most uninspiring 'room' of the house. Noise form other guests travelling troughout the hotel. 'Woods' to be visited, just don'T."
