- "The hotel was in a great location to see historic Salvador Bahia. The
staff was fantastic and helpful with any needs, questions and tours. The
view from the room and the pool of the bay was beautiful and the daily
breakfrast was delicious with so much fresh fruit, baked goods and juice
it was hard to eat it all. I would highly recomend the hotel if you are

- "The bed, the bed, the bed! My bed was so big and comfortable I loved it, also the shower was very nice, I just wish it wasn't over an old jacuzzi."

- "The breakfast was so bad, fruits were so cold almost frozen, nothing served seamed to be fresh, we asked for fried eggs and they were too greasy to eat, we then asked for a cheese sandwich who was given to us all mushy from the microwave, inedible!"

- "Everything related to the hotel was nearly perfect taking into consideration the price."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Unfortunately the town did not manage the UNESCO site properly and most of the neighbourhood of Pelourinho, including the street of the hotel, is transformed into a big, mostly artificial, tourist trap. As to the hotel, in the last night we found an envelope on the bed with a text suggesting a tip to the room maids - something that made me think of India where most hotel personnel is entitled to their livinghood needs but does not actually receive a payment (I hope the same does not happen here). I did not have the same experience in lesser costly hotels in Belem and Manaus where we stayed before Salvador."
