Excellent food and romantic atmosphere. Excellent hospitality by the hotel operator who also speak fluent English, and they explained in detail the history and stories of the castle which added much interest to our stay. Free parking. Good location along the Germany Fairy Tale Road."

- "Have spiders in the room and restaurant but this is expected in this natural context. Perfect if they provide toothbrush and toothpaste."

- "The setting is beautiful. It's a bit of a trek to get there, but worth it. It's not just a cool old castle on the exterior, the interior is terrific with lots of old artifacts, wood beams, a great staircase. The dining room has a wonderful view over the valley and if you're lucky enough to be there when it's warm (i wasn't) there is a beautiful patio. I want to go back! The owners are very nice. and the food was excellent."
