- "We visited in May 2013. The other reviews seem very accurate. It was unusually cold when we were there with 10 cms of snow in the mountains. The hotel was warm with a lovely fire in the lounge. There was a very good breakfast. It is a peaceful location and we enjoyed 4 good days walking. Torla has good choice is restaurants. The food in the hotel was good but we ate out for variety. The staff were kind helpful and friendly. We booked a room with a balcony which had great views. The hotel is very popular with walkers and the location is excellent."
