- "Beautiful building, gorgeous salon on the 2nd floor overlooking the street. The room was a little stuffy, we had to leave the windows open. Some rooms only had a window to the indoor patio. The bathroom was a little dated. The breakfast was good, the bar/lounge was nice and comfy. The food was excellent and reasonably priced but one has to ask every detail because the Maitre D will not disclose any extras that will had up to your bill. The Manager was knowledgeable but the desk staff just average. The maids are really nice. The staff carries your luggage to the room. If I went back to Cuenca I would definitely stay there again without hesitation,"

- "The Maitre D was over the top, I would have appreciated A/C. The front desk staff did not speak English or French and when they spoke in Spanish it was too fast for me to be comfortable."
