This privately run 4-star hotel in the eastern outskirts of Dortmund enjoys a green and tranquil environment in a convenient location close to the motorway, exhibition centre and airport.

Opened in 2002, the Hotel Ambiente offers large and spacious rooms with exclusive furnishings and all modern amenities. Wi-Fi internet access is available for free throughout the hotel.

What did you like the most?: "The hotel itself and the rooms had a nice modern feel, and was comfortable and clean. (Bizarrely in the first room we were given there were about a dozen ladybirds around the windows but we were immediately offered another room and housekeeping were onto it straight away.) There is a good bar, internet access, car parking and evening meals available. The staff were great, my german is passable but all the staff we talked to spoke english. We knew the hotel was on the outskirts of the city and that the ubahn was close by. This was a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel although there was also a park and ride at the station. I felt this was ok my hubby thought the statuion was isolated and therefore didn't feel particularly safe"
