- "Besides the great location, at an easy walking distance to almost
everything worth visiting in Chaves, not much more is worth mentioning
on the positive side." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The facilities of the hotel, as announced in your website, include free parking with no need for reservation. The wording of the statement would imply that, under normal circumstances, there will be a parking space available for each guest upon arrival without need for prior reservation. This is definitely not the case. We were told, with no apologies, that free parking is limited (they actually mentioned that their overall parking capacity is about six or seven spaces in total) and it is provided on a first come first served basis. The only problem is, when choosing an hotel to stay, people may ultimately decide on smaller things such as parking availability and, in this particular case, they will arrive at the hotel counting, among all other things, on a parking space... When we suggested that the "no reservation required" statement is a least misleading and at worst false, they just kept saying that parking is always subject to availability. We had to find our own parking on the street. The tv set almost could not be used, even after the remote was replaced. Based on my individual experience, the hotel is over rated at "Very Good, 8/10"."
