- "The accommodations in such an historic and beautiful building were fabulous and to see all the 'peregrinos' arriving daily was wonderful and inspiring. The breakfast buffet daily was beyond delicious and everyone at the Parador could not have been more welcoming and delightful. It was a very special trip to Santiago de Compostela, a place I have long wished to visit, and it was better than ever expected, in a large part because of staying at the Hostal Reis Catolicos! Its location, right on the Plaza del Obradoiro, next to the Cathedral was magical and gave a real sense of the history of the region and the pilgrimages to the resting place of St. James, the Apostle. Very fulfilling visit and hope to return! Thank you!"
