Este Parador goza de una ubicación mágica en un castillo del siglo IX, con una torre del siglo II. Ofrece vistas panorámicas sobre el paisaje natural de Cataluña.
Está situado junto al río Cardoner y cuenta con las mejores vistas de la zona, que se pueden admirar desde la iglesia románica.
Los interiores conservan la historia del Cardona, en un entorno medieval, con vigas abovedadas, paredes de piedra y preciosos patios.
Podrá cenar en el comedor medieval del Cardona, donde se sirven especialidades regionales elaboradas con los mejores productos locales.
Las habitaciones cuentan con encantadoras camas con dosel y elementos góticos. El mobiliario está inspirado en la época medieval catalana y destaca gracias a la iluminación y las ricas telas.
Tras pasar el día visitando los lugares de interés de la zona, podrá hacer ejercicio en el gimnasio o relajarse en la sauna del Parador de Cardona.

- "The location is fantastic. The integration of the historic monument and a hotel is also near perfect. The small town was also very nice."

- "No WiFi in rooms. No help in transporting luggage from the distant parking-lot. The hotel-reception staff was not friendly enough - sometimes even scornfully bighead."
