About Marixa
Hotel Marixa is located right in front of the walls of Villa de Laguardia.
The hotel comprises a total of 10 double rooms equipped with a TV, telephone, a full bathroom, heating and air conditioning.
Hotel Marixa’s meals are based on the typical cuisine from the Spanish region of La Rioja combining meat, vegetables and the best wines and desserts. Our aim is to satisfy our guests’s needs. We were awarded with the "Premio Nacional de Gastronomía “ in 1999 (the National Gastronomy Prize). From the observation deck, guests can enjoy the privilege of looking over 4 provinces.
Meeting lounges are also available in our hotel for business, weddings and all type of celebrations. -

En la capital de Rioja Alavesa, Laguardia, a 40 kilómetros de Vitoria-Gazteiz y 10 kilómetros de Logroño.

Cancellation policy Marixa
Reservation may be cancelled or amended up to 48 hours prior to the date of the client's arrival. Failure to cancel your booking prior to this time will result in a charge of one night's accommodation apart from the initial guarantee deposit. In order to amend a reservation, please contact the hotel directly. Contact details figure on the voucher. If by amending your reservation, the number of nights or rooms you had originally booked is reduced, the deposit will not be refunded and will not be discounted of the modified reservation fee.

- "The Marixa is a nice place to stay as you visit Laguardia. The staff is very friendly, the food is wonderful, and you are just outside the walled portion of the city. This was our second stay."

- "Not a criticism, but people should know that the rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator."

- "Excellent location with spectacular views of Rioja and the mountains
beyond.As it is just outside the city walls the parking can be easier
and closer to the Hotel.I Believe the resturant is also excellent ." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We arrived at the end of lunch service ,that is 3pm and were treated a little brusquely .We didn't,t get the room we booked ,the mountain view room and were told that the kitchen was closed despite food still being served. Next day with a change of staff all was explained and the bill was suitably adjusted. Our village view room was a little faded ,but was O.k for the price.The location and food( I have been told) is worth any price"
