Hostal Cocos Beach is classified as a 2 star hostel. It is situated North of Peru, in the city of Balneario de Huanchaco (Trujillo). The position of the hostel couldn’t be better: the seafront of one of the most virgin areas in Huanchaco.
The property has different types of rooms: single, double and triple with a private bathroom, cable TV, hot water and WiFi access.
Moreover, at the hostel there are facilities such as a great terrace with a view to the sea where breakfast is served and also other typical dishes from the coast.
As complementary services, for an inexpensive extra fee, there is a transfer to the airport service, car rental, and the possibility of going on excursions and go on a ride on a caballito de totora (a small reed watercraft that is typical from the coast of Trujillo).
Many activities such as surfing can be enjoyed at the outskirts: surfing, visiting the archaeological site of Chan Chan, las Huacas del Sol y la Luna or enjoy the delicious northen food that is made with the fish of our coast.
Hostal los Cocos Beach is just 12 km away from the center of Trujillo, and 3 minutes away by car from the International Airport Capitán FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos of and 7 minutes away from the archaeological site of Chan Chan.

Cancellation policy Cocos Beach Hostal
Reservation may be cancelled or amended up to 24 hours prior to day of arrival of the client. Failure to cancel your booking prior to this time will result in a charge of one night's accommodation apart from the initial guarantee deposit. In order to amend a reservation, please contact directly to the hotel which details figure in the voucher. If your amendment reduces the number of nights or rooms the deposit will not be refunded and will not be discounted of the modified reservation fee.

- "The wi-fi signal was weak in the room, it was necessary to go into the hallway. The kitchen needs a makeover and cleaning."

- "Staff not very helpful and appeared not to understand my Spanish (only person in Peru not to!) Restaurant closed around 7 pm every night Breakfast appalling Room not cleaned for the first 3 days of my stay, and then only on request once on the 4th, but sink left dirty. Supposed to be free WiFi throughout, but I only managed to connect one one day(out of 5), and not in my room Extremely disappointed with the whole experience - the exchange rate they used was also very unfavourable, and nowhere near the official bank rate!"
