What did you like the most?: I loved Hostal Pons and loved Palma. If you want a boring chain hotel, there are plenty in the city. I like to stay in a place with more character, and Hostal Pons definitely has that. The owner will help you out with advice about what to see, and the hostal is a short walk from the best parts of the city - museums, cafes, shops, and the seafront.

What did you like the most?: Traditional Mallorqui style hostel that is situated in the heart of Plama de Mallorca, but you wouldn't know that once inside. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful. Parts of the building are being slowly and lovingly restored with traditional decor.

What did you like the most?: Great location, near to the seafront and lovely old building with very
attractive courtyard. Good value for money. Owner is very relaxed and
friendly, was apologetic for small room although it was perfectly large
enough for me as a solo traveller. Cute little dog who follows you about
the place :)

What did you like the most?: Hostal Pons is a very old typical Mallorcan house.
If you like culture and if you like to spend time in an authentic building of the island, this is your place!
If you like luxury, you won't go to this hostel. Instead you will go to one of the too many hotels in the touristic areas of the island. Hotels that ruined half of the island...

What did you like the most?: As soon as I arrived at Hostal Pons, I was impressed with the building and location. The very friendly staff were helpful and polite, and had a good knowledge of the city. As it is right in the centre, you can walk to the beach or shop till you drop! The nightlife is great with many restaurants and bars, and if you search, there are some lovely live music venues.
I loved Palma and Hostal Pons, I will surely be back soon cos I miss it already!

What did you like the most?: I liked the quaint, rustic charm of the Hostal Pons. I felt that my room
was clean and the shared bathroom facilities were no problem. I just
stayed one night because I was boarding a ship in the early morning but
I would use the accomodation again if I go back to Palma to explore. The
man who was running it was friendly and helpful.

What did you like the most?: Lovely more than 200 years old Mallorcan mansion with a roof terrace, courtyards, palm trees, staircases, balconies, ceramic tiles and traditional furniture. Rooms and toilets are very clean though, as was the shared bathroom with brandnew showers. It's in an excellent location: in the heart of the historic center of Palma, at a few hundred meters of the airport bus stop (av. Argentina/La Feixina), the Paseo Maritimo and the port, close to El Corte Inglés, the Cathedral and Almudaina Palace. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and yet it's very quiet, even at night. The staff are very friendly, prepare breakfast for you if you like and can give you plenty of useful information and tips, also in English.
