What did you like the most?: Very friendly and helpful staff. I slept in a shared room with 5 beds
and a really nice view at the port. For ? 1,50 you can buy a one way
busticket to the center of Palma, busses leaving every 10 minutes.

What did you like the most?: People were friendly and helpful, the place is pleasant, clean and quiet, close to the beach and to the bus stops. You can easily reach the town centre by bus (about 30 minutes).

What did you like the most?: the coziness and simplicity made it absolutely perfect and fits our lovely trip to Mallorca. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the location is quite nice, lots of good restaurents around and nice beaches as well, with good connection to the city center.

What did you like the most?: Breakfast was very nice. Wi fi not alwys working which was a problem at
times as needed to use internet . First few days sharing a room with
other femles was fine but then I had to move to my parents hotel due to
how uncomfortable I felt when a partcular man shared the room.

What did you like the most?: everything was great! the personnel, the place itself. hosts are nice - not loud, very friendly.
you can have breakfast as a part of the booking fee. they don't have kitchen, but there is a bar instead - not expensive one)
the sea is very closed - depending the beach you choose, it's from 3 min to 30 min walking.
it's closed for night hours, but you alwaays can have keys and come back to the room as late as you want.

What did you like the most?: Great choice for solo travelling / backpackers / young travellers on a budget. I choose La Mimosa because it was cheap and it had good reviews here. I was not disappointed: The hostal was located in a quiet area just minutes away from beach & entertainment. Parking on the street is free. Everyone in the staff was exceptionally friendly and I felt as welcome as if I was an old friend. The place is an old villa converted into a hostal so all rooms looks different and doors are thin and noisy. In my view this adds to the character of the place. YMMV. As a solo traveller I enjoyed the bar area where it was easy to find someone to talk to. The staff again went out of their way to make me feel comfortable (Thanks Liz!) and gave me good hints about the restaurants in the nearby area. The pool was clean and there were free loungers available and a nice place to make new friends too. Good base for hikers that wish to explore the area, the hostal can help you find mountain guides.

What did you like the most?: The hostal is very easy to find. The staff is nice, and as the rooms are
shared, they even offered themselves to keep it in the safe. The room
and toilet are clean. The owner of the hostal is very kind. On my check-
out day, and just by coincidence, we were going on the same direction,
and he dropped me in Porto Pi, avoiding me to pay the bus fare. Reaaly,
really kind! :)

What did you like the most?: A very nice place located in a mainly residential area just outside Palma. Just a few minutes walk from two wonderful beaches and yet within easy reach of the city ( 3 different local buses to choose from). No restaurant in the hotel but plenty in the area. The hotel has a bar though where you can get coffee, beer, drinks and some snacks. A continental breakfast is served in the wonderful sunny breakfast room. Several patios and terraces surround the house and a well maintained pool. Place is very clean, I was staying in a shared room (5 beds) and this room had two windows and a lovely sea view in both directions. I can definatly recommend this place!

What did you like the most?: Excellent hospitality and service. Leaving very early I was given a
packed breakfast. Rather unique possibility to sleep affordably on
the coast in Palma (but more basic than posh !). Apart from the
location on the sea-front the new owners have an interest to cater to
(gr221) hikers, since the Mimosa is on the way from the airport to
the trail-head.
