- "Positive points: clean, comfortable, central."

- "Very unpleasantly surprised by an incident with the hotel owner who - admittedly - had been very nice and helpful - until this happened. I was travelling with a baby who at some point in the middle of the night woke up and started crying. Some 3 minutes later the hotel owner sprang into action and started knocking on my door - so long and persistantly (despite me telling her I could not let her in) that eventually I had to give up my attempts to calm the baby and let her in. Turned out she wanted to tell me that it was inacceptable and disturbing other guests -which I kind of guessed by myself (but babies do cry, you know), but - needless to say - her activity was somewhat counterproductive and I found the whole situation completely unacceptable. So go for this place if you want to be protected against other potentially noisy hotel guests - the place is not bad - , but for me this exceded to limits of the reasonable and violated my privacy, so I would never consider coming back. Other negative points: central. Even though the window faces a narrow side street, it has a sound- amplifying effect, so any sounds are very loud, and I imagine that on a weekend night in summer it may be too loud."

- "Clean, cozy, very well positioned, close to La Rambla and other touristic places, 10-15 min to Plaza Catalunya, less to Metro Liceu. Sra Rosa who is running Hostal Colmenero was very nice and kind."

- "WIFI had not coverage in my room but Sra. Rosa offered me the desk in the lobby where it worked well."
