- "Nice hotel, well presented, nice room, great views over the park, located in a modern district on the edge of the main city."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We used the Hilton Lyon as a 1 night stopover on our way to the med coast. There was a salsa conference and 2 weddings taking place on the night we stayed which made the hotel very noisy. The road in was jammed with a wedding party waving flags and blocking the traffic. There were people slamming the hotel doors until 3am which meant that we hardly slept."

The hotel has a luxurious appearance inside and is well maintained. The room (executive twin) was very spacious and had great blackout curtains and a very comfy bed. The bathroom was large and clean. The Blue elephant was closed but breakfast in the Brasserie was very good. The staff were lovely and the food was of a very good standard. I also enjoyed a quiet lunch there and again enjoyed the quality and staff. The discount on booking.com is massive. If I had walked in the room would have cost ?415 a night, however I paid about a quarter of that so I'm happy."

- "Extra costa are high. Wifi is about ?10 an hour, obviously the parking, and the minibar prices are extortionate. The bathroom, although big could've been maintained a little better I.e. The grout was stained in places, no plug in main sink. Also the shower alternated it's temperature which was frustrating. However, these things are minor and I would return but would expect better from a hotel of this standard."
