- "Manager tried to charge us an extra £10 for a late check out which was not agreed up front and ended up as 30 mins after check out time of 11. This did not go down well at all and made a bad impression on an otherwise really nice stay."

- "The Hillcrest provided a wonderful stay for me and my partner, the room was beautiful, very different from a normal hotel and made us feel as though we were at home. The staff were lovely, very attentive and welcoming and the hotel was in a lovely location, the perfect distance from the city centre and just above the arboretum."
