What did you like the most?: "Lovely location just outside Newlyn, great views over the bay towards Penzance and St Michael's Mount, very comfortable, well decorated and clean room and bathroom.
Very close to Mousehole, which is beautiful. There are two restaurants there and both were hard to get a table at, especially 2 Fore Street which we'd recommend booking ahead."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "A not particularly warm welcome and a diy breakfast. Paying £338 for two nights you would expect a freshly made breakfast, rather than something you'd get at Travelodge."

What did you like the most?: "It is a wonderful house in a gorgeous surrounding. From our room we had a phantastic view onto the sea and the Bay of Penzance. The owners are very friendly and helpful, it was always a pleasure to talk with them. The room was individually and tasty furnished. We spend a wonderful time there and wished we could have stayed on longer. Another point which we really enjoyed was that this house was built by a famouse painter, Stanhope A. Forbes and his wife Elisabeth who were the founders of the Newlyn school who taught many studients how to paint or to improve their skills. A lovely way to spend a holiday!"
