- "The bed was fine and the bedding was clean. Funny though that they
left a post it by our bed letting us know that our bedding was clean,
as though that was an accomplishment to be proud of rather than the
bare minimum.
The outdoor firepit by the pool is nice, but without a restaurant or lounge (which used to be right by the firepit) it's rather lackluster.
The hot-tub temperature is nice." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Highly unimpressed. The well reviewed Hotel Highland was converted to a Hampton Inn two days before my trip and I was not notified and given the option to find somewhere else to stay. The breakfast was not edible. Like microwaved eggs and horrible stale bread products. My husband just wanted a banana and they didn't even have those other than the first day. The shower in my room was not clean - in fact there was someone else's hair in it! When I called to ask them to clean that, they sent someone, but they just removed the hair - did not fully clean the shower. Also, the layer of dust on my headboard was outrageous - actually the whole room could have used a good cleaning. Even though it was not particularly warm in Phoenix during our stay, the AC did not reach the bed, so sleeping was uncomfortable."

- "Room size, with a king bed; convenience to shopping, including grocery and pharmacy, and restuarants, and transportation; service staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the shuttle driver."

- "Limited breakfast choices, perhaps due to ongoing lobby renovation."
