- "Does what it says on the tin - olde worlde charm at a reasonable price. Good walking round about - Earth Trust centre, hills, Thames Path. Good pubs and places to eat in town. Excellent English breakfast cooked to order."

- "The kitchen was closed on the evening we stayed. To be fair, however (i)the owners were at a family wedding and (ii) they had forewarned us by telephone very soon after booking and gave us the chance to cancel."
