- "There is a gentleman by the name of Carlos that works at the reception
desk who is a class act. Great personality, attentive, and speaks great
english. When I arrived while I waiting in line and other front desk
appeared lost, he told he colleague to offer me something to drink.
There are other good hotels in Barranquilla but never have I received
the sincere attention given by Carlos. I would return just because of
his service alone."

- "I asked for a quiet room on a high floor; I was given a noisy room on a low floor right near the pool, There were other families with very young children on this floor constantly crying and having tantrums, etc. Also, the hotel was noty fully occupied by any means. I found the staff disinterested in the customer. The Estelar Almirante in Cartegena is MUCH better. It is all a question of management skill, I think that managemnet at Estelar Alto Prado could do a much better job."
