- "Cookie on arrival ... downhill after that."

- "Given a tiny room on arrival (3pm) when regular room was not clean yet. So small when you swung your feet from the bed they were in the bathroom doorway (seriously!). No bellman to assist with luggage. Called to express displeasure with room. Told they were sold out but had asked our receptionist how booked they were prior to going to room and she said they had 20+ rooms left. Complained louder and got switched to a somewhat better room (little bigger). While in lobby later heard staff answer phone and say that they did have rooms available in the type of room we had. (10pm). Next day was told another lie in that we had taken someone else's king room and they had to accept a two queen room. Went to use the jacuzzi in the morning and it was drained. Overpriced ... better choices for half the dollars close by. Certainly not up to Doubletree/Hilton standards."

- "We were visiting family for Christmas and this is the best hotel in Claremont. On occasion we have had their breakfast buffet included in the hotel rate and it is excellent."

- "I would have appreciated a free breakfast also. The tv monitor on the elliptical exercise machine in the exercise room was not functioning well. Went fuzzy"
