What did you like the most?: "Location - we walked everywhere. Comfortable bed and LOVED the big bathtub."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "The NOISE! Lots of traffic/city noise made it very hard to sleep. Not sure what you can do besides get very thick windows?"

What did you like the most?: "It still retains some of its pre-Hilton charm and character and the location is excellent between the railway station and downtown. It's close to restaurants the magnificent City Hall and Library and a pleasant stroll from the Seattle Art Museum, Pike Street etc
The jetted tubs are good and the decor in keeping with its past."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "I was fortunate to stay in this hotel in the brief period between its opening and take-over by Hilton. The staff were always very pleasant and attentive and remain so but it had a much more personal feel back then. They had nice little pens specifically for the hotel (a couple of refills later, I still have mine), a few other nicknacks and less generally about the Hilton Group. My main gripe is with the charge for Internet. Why when it is freely available so widely does this particular Hilton fond it necessary to 'nickel and dime' its guests in this way. It's even free in the lobby but not in the room, unlike other hotels in the group; should I go down in my bathrobe as a protest or pay the $10 and stay in my room? The price to stay is quite high and reflects the need to have 3 people manning the front door, 1 guarding the left luggage, whilst there are only 2 at the reception (valet parking is available). I doubt I'll go back until, at least the Internet policy is changed. It's got the uniform gray of corporate globalism. I preferred the pre-Hilton version."
