What did you like the most?
"If you want to experience life in a French 'manor house' this is the
hotel for you. Understated elegance! We felt like special guests in a
family home. Meals are served in the cool and shady courtyard; the pool
is magnificent and the hotel quiet. The proprieters (who speak good
English) are very helpful E.G. offering advice on places to visit. The
excllent food is prepared using local produce."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"There was no information table/leaflets about local events, no menus or prices of meals and drinks, no bar. The nearest (alternative/cheaper) resturants are a short drive away. There is some road noise when at the pool but not in the bedrooms."

What did you like the most?
"Beautifully and lovingly restored chateau set in lovely grounds. The
owner was very friendly. Room was big and has character."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"A little short of staff. Not easy to find location of hotel - signpost too close to hotel so easy to drive past."

What did you like the most?
"The actual appearance of an ancient Domaine. The place was secluded and reeked of history - very authentic."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"Being such an old place, it did not make us feel comfortable - we had visions of something like the Chateau des Tertres in the Loire valley. The computer did not work in the room, but the Monsieur was extremely helpful in letting me use his computer, as I was expecting a very important message. But the place felt cold and by no means comfortable, despite the old and historic decor."

What did you like the most?
"The evening meal and wine. They accommodated my gluten free diet without pre warning."
Is there anything you didn't like?
"It is difficult to locate - the hotel and the front door! The hotel sign and entrance is tatty and leaves a very bad impression - not what I was expecting. The art - oil paintings- are really quite scary and do not make one feel welcome. I booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1."
