- What did you like the most?
- "Ideal location as in the centre of the old town. Self catering apartment would be a more accurate description but beakfast was delivered . Facilities basic but bed comfy and there was coffee etc in the cupboards and water /mlk /juice etc in fridge . Nice to have freedom to eat/drink whenever .The owner was accessible if required and I am sure would have gone out of his way if necessary . Lecce is a beautiful city , very relaxed and easy and people lovely"

- "Only downside was the bed was on a mezzanine level with access via industrial metal stairs that were quite scary in the middle of the night as bathroom was downstairs . Definitely not safe for children as there was also a window from mezzanine down into kitchen that could be a hazard"

- "I liked the location in the middle of the historic city, it was perfect for restaurants and bars and was close to historic monuments and churches. I enjoyed the fact that it was self contained even though it was not what I expected.."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The room is not a hotel or within a hotel or a bed and breakfast. I would have prefered to be in a hotel environment with access to the services this would bring. I had to walk to a payphone and ring the owners if I wanted anything which was difficult. I felt that the location, although in the middle of the city was a bit secluded and we had to walk down an alley to get to it. This worried me as I felt the door lock was not adequate. I also feel that there should have been an option not to have breakfast, I asked but was refused. In addition, the appartment needs a few tweaks, the finish was a bit lacking, bulbs not working, wall light not attached properly. I saw mixed reviews and I think it depends which of the appartments you get."

- "Wonderful atmospheric location right in the middle of the old town. Good standard of comfort. Lovely breakfast served each morning in your apartment which is cleaned each day.. Very spacious."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "There is no actual reception and the owner/manager lives about 400 metres away. So before you arrive you must ring him and he meets you there. His English is very poor but fortunately we both spoke French. This could be offputting for less experienced travellers. However he is extremely helpful and pleasant. The Visa machine broke down so we paid in cash. All part of the fun."
